Mary McAleese

Former President of Ireland, Chancellor Trinity College University of Dublin

Mary MCAleese is one of Irelands most prominent and important voices. As 8th President of Ireland she championed inclusion, civil liberties, justice and reconciliation, with a special emphasis on building bridges between the North and South of Ireland.

She is an award winning academic and author, and has gained the (correct) reputation for being someone who is able to understand and communicate with all levels of society.  She is currently serving as Chancellor of Trinity College, her Alma Mater, and is a member of Council of Women World Leaders. As a strong advocate for women’s rights, social inclusion and equality, we are delighted that Mary is joining us at this years Good Summit.
