Originally from Bangor Co. Down, Iain Archer is one of Northern Ireland’s most successful songwriters and musicians of recent years. As part of the Snow Patrol stable, Iain has worked alongside SP for years, writing and producing. Last year he stepped in for Nathan Connolly (who suffered a hand injury) when the band played live, and most recently he produced work alongside Gary Lightbody as part of Gary’s lockdown campaign to keep people creative, eventually culminating in the current single from Snow Patrol which is raising funds for charity.
As a songwriter, musician and producer Iain has worked alongside countless people including Peter Buck (REM), Niall Horan, Jake Bugg and James Bay, alongside whom he won an Ivor Novello award for ‘Hold back the river.’
