In her role at New Ireland, Oonagh has been instrumental in demonstrating that the company is committed to understanding and supporting the challenges that customers and colleagues experience at all stages of their careers.
Throughout her career she has focused on programmes that emphasise talent & leadership development and organisation effectiveness, which are always underpinned with open and honest communication.
New Ireland recently commissioned research in conjunction with everymum (formerly eumom) to assess attitudes and perceptions towards returning to work after a leave of absence with a view to understanding the challenges they are faced with. The findings of the research very clearly indicated that women find returning to work to be a nervous and anxious time. This has led to the creation of the #returnwithconfidence program, in a step towards better enabling mothers and fathers to succeed in their careers and better enable families and communities to thrive.
